Salisbury Cathedral School
Judo, an Olympic sport since 1964 meets every Wednesday and Friday in the gymnasium from 08:00 to 08:40 am. There are classes to suit boys and girls from 5 to 13 years and is a fantastic boost for the shy and timid as well as a calming influence for the more high-spirited child. The main emphasis is on having fun whilst learning the disciplines of this dynamic activity. Children will engage in vibrant and high-energy lessons together with regular competitions, including IAPS for the more experienced. Belt promotion exams take place twice a year, which are recognised worldwide.
For your further information, Judo teacher Nick Lowe is a 5th Degree Black Belt and achieved British and European Champion status. He has over 42 years experience and has been running the club since 2002.
