Nick Lowe has over 30 years of self-protection experience including 8 years in the British Army as a Physical Training Instructor, where he taught self-defence to Soldiers on there way to the Falkland Islands.
Since 2002, Nick has been providing personal safety tuition to women of all ages and in all walks of life, within the UK and the United States of America. He is also a 5th Degree Black Belt in Judo.
Diane Lowe has been a Judo wife for 30 years, and as you can imagine picked up a few things on the way. Although she never competed herself, she was a successful support to Nick and his many clubs, turning her hand to coaching at times.
Diane also understands the threat that faces women. Whilst she worked as a restaurant manager she became all to familiar with late night hours, being left to lock up alone, and to protect her staff if confrontation occurred. It was Diane’s confession that it made her feel uneasy and vulnerable, as most women do when alone at nighttime, and together with Nick she helped master Fight Like A Girl, empowering women with a confidence to take control.
